William Lustig‘s filmography contains slasher hits like Maniac and the Maniac Cop series, now from Blue Underground, his ’90s slasher Uncle Sam is getting a 4K upgrade. The 1996 movie stars Timothy Bottoms, Bo Hopkins, William Smith, P.J. Soles, Isaac Hayes, and Robert Forster. William Lustig directed a script from Larry Cohen.

Uncle Sam comes to 4K on June 21st, 2022. Grab it from Blue Underground directly, or wherever you get your boutique label 4K and Blu-ray releases.

The film is turning 25, so to celebrate, Blue Underground is giving it a brand new restoration, scanned in 4K 16-bit from the original 35mm camera negative. It also includes Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. The new release is loaded with extras and special features as well.
