Fans of Netflix’s time-loop series Russian Doll have waited over three years to see season 2. But now, that wait is finally almost over.
The streamer revealed today the series will officially return April 20.
Netflix made the announcement by dropping a new teaser clip for Russian Doll season 2. Check it out below.
The clip teases flashes of the season to come, finally ending with Nadia (Natasha Lyonne) cheerfully relaying some advice:
“When the universe fucks with you, let it.”
The clip ends by revealing the official premiere date for season 2 on April 20.
Russian Doll season 2 picks up four years after the events of the first season. After escaping their deadly personal time loops, Nadia and Alan (Charlie Barnett) stumble across a time portal in the middle of Manhattan. But their era-spanning adventures quickly prove more than they bargained for. Nadia and Alan are about to learn their is a fate worse than death.
The Emmy-winning series returns, with Lyonne starring and serving as showrunner and executive producer. Alex Buono, Amy Poehler (Paper Kite Productions), Leslye Headland, Lilly Burns (Jax Media), Tony Hernandez (Jax Media), Dave Becky (3 Arts), Kate Arend (Paper Kite Productions), Regina Corrado, and Allison Silverman also executive produce.
