Hello everyone, your friendly neighborhood Professor Hulk, here. I’m about to drop some knowledge of some exciting stuff in the film and TV world. Last week we shared with you details on Monster Hunter. This week, we’re talking about Silver Sable.

We’ve exclusively learned that Sony has moved forward with a treatment for the character.

The Long And Storied Silver Sable Tale

Originally Silver Sable was supposed to debut alongside Alicia Hardy (aka Black Cat) in the unproduced film, Silver & Black.

The screenwriters could not ultimately decide on the proper route to take that would deliver a satisfying tale for both characters in one movie. Ultimately the Sony brass decided that it was time to shelf the project.

We recently learned that Black Cat is back in development. Now it seems that Sony has also figured out a way to make Silver Sable work as well.

Connections To Other Universes

Any time I publish an exclusive tied to Spider-Man and the Sony-verse people ask the inevitable: “What’s this connected to?”

The answer is that it won’t tie into any of the Spider-Man films; although it will connect to the upcoming Black Cat movie.

It’s said that both films will lead into a team up for the two of them.

Other Plot Details

While plot details are light, we can confirm that the film will act as an origin movie. With Silvija Sablinova becoming an infamous mercenary and the leader of both the Wild Pack and the owner of Silver Sable International.

Following that, the villain will be a re-envisioned version of The Foreigner; this new version will be portrayed as a fellow mercenary who betrays Silvija.
