HBO’s new show is all about the beginnings of the Los Angeles Lakers dynasty, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty debuts on Sunday, March 6th, 2022. The second trailer for the show was just released ahead of a planned Super Bowl spot for the show.
It comes from Adam McKay and stars John C. Reily as Dr. Jerry Buss, the man who revolutionized the Los Angeles Lakers in the late ’70s and through to the ‘2000s.
WINNING TIME: THE RISE OF THE LAKERS DYNASTY is a fast-break series about the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties — a team that defined an era, both on and off the court.
