We have new information on Hogwarts Legacy. At least if we are to believe the rumors coming from Youtuber Retro Raconteur.
Unfortunately, it seems rumors are all the information we are getting lately. Since its first announcement in 2020, not many details are available about the upcoming action RPG game. Warner Bros. is keeping things relatively quiet, with only a vague tweet from CEO Jason Kilar. According to said tweet, which is basically only a picture, just states that Hogwarts Legacy and Gotham Knights will release later this year. Again no further details are available.
Apart from a trailer most information is speculation and theory. There is even a report that the game is delayed due to unforeseen problems with it The only thing certain is that this is a live-action RPG game. The players can study at Hogwarts and pick their own houses. As well as it may have a moral system in which one can pick to be good, or to dabble in the Dark Arts.
Now we have the information from Retro Raconteur. According to them, this information comes from those developing the game. They reportedly are drawing their inspiration largely from games such as The Last of Us Part II, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2, and Ghost of Tsushima. If this is true, then the game will be big on exploration.
Furthermore, Retro Raconteur states that Hogwarts Legacy will have a lot of dungeons diving. Also, clearing out enemy camps throughout the game. There will also be a relationship system where each one will have their own storyline. And, a day and night cycle to go along with the gameplay.
Of course, this information should be taken with a grain of salt as with all the other rumors. As I said, this game has a lot of rumors coming out. Retro Raconteur does state two different sources but has no track record to make their claims legit. We will keep our ears peeled and hope to have official word from Warner Bros themselves on when this game will come out or even a trailer.
Hogwarts Legacy will come out for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. For the latest news on this game, or any other games, check back to That Hashtag Show.
