Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett will wrap up next week on Disney+, so that has a lot of fans asking what’s next and when. Well, while we are waiting for the official release dates for Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian Season 3, and the Andor series, there is a rumor that one of these series has been renewed for another season.
Andor Series Renewed For A Second Season
Even though we still don’t know when Andor will be hitting Disney+, it looks like we can already look forward to a second season. In a report from ComicBook.com actor Stellan Skarsgård, has revealed in an interview with Dagens Nyheter that they will be filming the second season of Andor later this year.
“We start with [filming Dune: Part Two] in July. And then in the autumn, it’s time for the second season of the Star Wars series Andor,” Skarsgård said in a Swedish-language interview with Dagens Nyheter. Asked when the second season might stream on Disney+, Skarsgård said, “I do not know when they will start broadcasting it. It will take some time so that it does not take too long between season one and season two.”
