Stop the press! What a great time to be a Spider-Man fan. Not only did we get one of the best Marvel movies of all time with Spider-Man: No Way Home, we also had no shortage of collectibles as well. Oh yeah and on top of all this, we also get to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Spider-man this year as well! So to celebrate all of this, throughout 2022 I will be taking a look at some of the Spider-Man collectibles out there, starting with the Marvel Gamerverse: Spider-Man On A Cab PVC Diorama from Diamond Select Toys.

Marvel Gamerverse: Spider-Man On A Cab PVC Diorama Review

From TV shows and movies to comics and video games there are a lot of collectibles that represent Spider-Man in one of those formats. Well, thanks to our friends at Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant Ltd. I am able to review one of these collectibles coming from the video games universe (also known as the Marvel GamerVerse), The Spider-Man On Cab PVC Diorama. This diorama features Spider-Man on top of a taxi cab and is based on the 2018 Marvel Spider-Man game. This diorama retails for $49.99 is still available at some local comic shops and at BigBadToyStore.com.

Pros Of The Marvel Gamerverse: Spider-Man On A Cab PVC Diorama

• If you are an in-box collector this diorama comes in an open-window box that makes Spider-Man easy to view.
• The Spider-Man diorama comes as one piece so there is no assembly required.
• Spider-Man’s detailed paint applications give him that 2018 Spider-Man in-game look that will stand out in any collection.
• Spider-Man and the taxi may only stand 9-inches tall but the sculpt and paint details give it a huge look.
• The base for this diorama is great, as it is the top of a taxi cab with a Daily Bugle sign that Spider-Man is using to perch on. This base gives Spidy great balance and makes it very hard to knock over.
• The Spider-Man diorama is also very lightweight so it is very easy to move around as you look for the right place to put it.

Cons Of The Marvel Gamerverse: Spider-Man On A Cab PVC Diorama

• While the paint details look amazing on this diorama, the Spider-Man symbol has a little color bleeding on his back. But it is not enough to make me say pass on this diorama.
• This diorama is very simple. If you are one that likes a lot going on in your dioramas this might not be the one for you

My Final Thoughts

If you are a huge fan of Spider-Man or just a fan of the GamerVerse, the Marvel Gamerverse: Spider-Man On A Cab is a must-have. This is just a fun little diorama that will look good in that Spider-Man collection. The price at $49.99 is on par with most of the dioramas out there. Also if you are a Diamond Select Toys fan you know that you need this to go with the rest of the Spider-Man items they have to offer. There are not enough negatives on this item for me to say stay away from it so you will want to snag this one up before it is too late.
