Hello everyone, your friendly neighborhood, Professor Hulk, here. I’m about to drop some knowledge of some exciting stuff in the film and TV world. Last week we shared with you details on the return of Q’ira. This week, we’re talking about Bo-Katan.

We’ve exclusively learned that Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan will be getting a live-action series that’s a spin-off from The Mandalorian.

When Will This Take Place?

My sources shared that this series will take place after The Mandalorian (Season 3). However, considering The Book Of Boba Fett’s use of flashback scenes, I would also expect some flashbacks.

Story Details

No other story details or characters are confirmed at this time. Although being a Star Wars Disney+ series, don’t expect it to exist in a vacuum, canonically speaking.

Interestingly, my sources did divulge that Bo-Katan was set to feature prominently in Rangers of the New Republic. That show was silently canceled after comments were made by star Gina Carano, among other issues. So some of these story elements and characters may be carried over to the Bo-Katan series.

The last time we saw Bo-Katan, she was on board Moff Gideon’s light cruiser with Din-Djarin and the rest of their crew.

When Will It Air?

I think it’s likely we would see this series in late 2023 or early 2024. It should follow the third season of The Mandalorian (although filming is now delayed due to COVID-19).
