On Ozark, it’s the beginning of the end for an empire. But who’s going to come out on top?
And can anyone even survive the downfall?
The first part of the final season of Ozark arrives on Netflix later this month. Season 4 part 1 sees the Byrde family get further tangled in the web of Navarro’s cartel, the FBI, and their own money laundering.
“The Navarro cartel has been made aware that you intend to start producing heroin again,” Marty tells Darlene Snell in a new trailer. “They have instructed us to warn you their response is gonna be quick, and it’s gonna be brutal.”
“We’re just the messengers here,” adds Wendy.

Season 4 of Ozark picks up after the killing of Helen Pierce, an attorney for the Navarro drug cartel. As Omar Navarro brings Marty and Wendy further in his operation, their past continues to haunt them.
Navarro himself gives an ominous warning: “Your greatest threat will always come from the inside, Marty. Never forget that.”
Reprising their roles as the Byrde family are Jason Bateman (Marty), Laura Linney (Wendy), Sofia Hublitz (Charlotte), and Skylar Gaertner (Jonah). Additional cast members include Felix Solis, Julia Garner, Charlie Tahan, Jessica Frances Dukes, Damian Young, Alfonso Herrera, Adam Rothenberg, John Bedford Lloyd, Joseph Sikora, Bruno Bichir, CC Castillo, Katrina Lenk, Bruce Davison, Ali Stroker, and Veronica Falcón.
Ozark season 4 part one will include seven episodes. You can catch the premiere of the final season on Netflix January 21. At this time, a release date for season 4 part two remains TBA.
