Many Marvel fans are excited about the upcoming Moon Knight series coming our way in 2022 on Disney+. Starring Oscar Isaac (Marc Spector/Moon Knight), Gaspard Ulliel (Anton Mogart/Midnight Man, Ethan Hawke, Alexander Cobb, and many others we don’t know about, there still has been very little released on this upcoming series. Of course, when there is very little getting out the rumors start coming around, and this series isn’t any different. One rumor you will want to keep an eye on is that George Clooney is going to direct an episode of the new Moon Knight series.

Is George Clooney Directing An Episode Of Moon Knight?

Now, as I say in every rumor watch please take this with a grain of salt, as there has been no official announcement from Marvel on this rumor. So we already know that Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead are set to direct the Moonlight series, but thanks to a rumor by Cosmic Circus, it now looks as if George Clooney may be directing an episode as well. Also what makes this rumor more interesting is that the source they listed was redacted by request and the article was updated today December 30.

For those that missed out on what was redacted, it seems that someone visited the personal website of a Moon Knight crew member, who is listed on IMDb as an assistant art director. That website has George Clooney listed as a director of Moon Knight. Now what is interesting about this, is the assistant art director that listed Clooney also had a role on Hulu’s Catch-22 as an illustrator. For those that don’t know, Clooney produced and directed that as well. So, all of the math, you can see why this rumor could possibly turn out to be true. But just like everything else that comes up as a rumor in the Marvel Universe, we will have to just wait and see if it pans out.
