We all know Michael Keaton is making his grand return as Batman in the upcoming The Flash, but now, he’s also making an appearance in Batgirl. According to the Warner Bros. Press Kit and first reported by CineLinx, the Batman actor is coming to the HBO Max film. Batgirl stars Leslie Grace, J.K. Simmons, and Brendan Fraser. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the movie with a script from Christina Hodson.

Batgirl is currently filming in London and is an HBO Max exclusive movie. The Flash, which opens November 4th, 2022, is the first time Michael Keaton is playing Batman since 1992’s Batman Returns. You can check out our coverage of that film right here. So far, the only tease we have is from DC Fandome and the teaser trailer that they showed off. It had Keaton’s silhouette, but didn’t show him in the costume.

Batgirl has no release date currently.
