Minions: The Rise of Gru, is a prequel to the much loved Despicable Me and Minions franchise. As we all remember, Despicable Me (all three parts) follows Gru and his loyal followers, the minions. Along the way, the minions provide us with slapstick comic relief, and in the process, steal all our hearts
Now, in Minions: The Rise of Gru, we will see a 12-year old Gru. A fan of supervillains, he decides he wants to join the biggest supervillain group there is, the Vicious 6. In order to do so, he must ask Wild Knuckles for help. Coming along for the ride are the forever loyal minions, Bob, Stuart, Kevin, and Otto. Oh, and we will be meeting a young Dr. Nefario, who fans will remember as Gru’s assistant mad scientist in the original films.
