Marvel Studios’ Eternals is heading to Disney+. After hauling in a sizeable box office draw, the new team of superheroes/celestials is coming to Disney+ on January 12th, 2022. The story that spans thousands of years in Eternals is coming home in IMAX Enhanced. It joins 13 other Marvel films on Disney+ in the format. For those that didn’t see Eternals the story goes like this:
Marvel Studios’ Eternals follows a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.
The cast is massive and diverse, it stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie. Chloe Zhao directs a script from Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo, Kaz Firpo, and herself.
