Well, it seems like Halle Berry really misses X-Men. Which makes sense, since she played Ororo Munroe/Storm in those films. I guess that’s why she wants to make a stormy return as her.
Halle Berry’s Thoughts on Storm
During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, also posted on YouTube, Halle Berry turned the conversation to her time playing Storm in the X-Men films. It seemed that not only did she love playing the weather-controlling mutant, but she would like to return to playing her if possible. Her exact words were:
“But, I would absolutely return to it, it’s a beloved character, I loved playing Storm, and people love Storm. So, I would absolutely, you know, if we could find a version that would make sense, or a storyline that would make sense, I would absolutely do that, for sure.”
Unfortunately, that’s all Halle Berry has to say on the subject of Storm and X-Men. At least, as far as the possibility of her return is concerned. Maybe she’ll have more info for us one of these days.
Halle Berry: The Returning Storm?
Ultimately though, Halle Berry doesn’t actually offer any concrete info on any future reappearance of Storm. Simply wanting to reprise her role as arguably one of the coolest mutants in X-Men doesn’t quite make it so, unfortunately. Maybe if Disney ever decides to actually do something with the X-Men franchise instead of sitting on it or making really bad additions to the series (looking at you Dark Phoenix), maybe Storm might just make her grand reappearance one of these days. It doesn’t seem likely at this point, but hey, we can dream.
