Scream makes its triumphant return for the fifth installment on January 14th, 2022. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett direct a script by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. Paramount Pictures gave us a new look at the legacy characters from the series with these posters.

Here’s the official synopsis for Scream:

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

The movie stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette from the first four films. In addition, it introduces Dylan Minette, Mason Gooding, Kyle Gallner, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mikey Madison, Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, and Jenna Ortega. Marley Shelton is also coming back as Deputy Judy HIcks from Scream 4.

Scream returns early next year.
