In a report from Deadline, Natasha Liu Bordizzo (The Society) will star opposite Rosario Dawson in the Disney+ limited series Star Wars: Ahsoka. The series is a spinoff of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
According to Deadline, Bordizzo will take on the character of Sabine Wren from the Star Wars Rebels animated series. However, neither Lucasfilm nor Borizzo’s team has a comment.
Dawson’s character is originally from Star Wars: Clone Wars and Rebels. She made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian. There are tons of rumors about other animated Star Wars characters joining in the fun in the next season The Mandalorian, as well as Star Wars: Ahsoka. So, it seems these rumors and hopes from fans are coming true!
Star Wars: Ahsoka is written by Dave Filoni and executive produced by Filoni and John Favreau. March 2022 is reportedly when filming for the series will take place. With an air date sometime in the fall of 2022.
