Michael Keaton appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, and he might’ve let something slip that he shouldn’t have. During the interview, Keaton revealed that he’s filming “something” as The Vulture. He famously played the Spider-Man villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming in a movie-stealing performance.
He told Kimmel that he doesn’t really understand the MCU‘s complexities but that “I’m shooting tomorrow; I’m shooting Vulture stuff.” But then, he simply repeated “Vulture stuff” when pressed by Kimmel on the matter. Check out the interview below for yourself; the Marvel talk starts around 13 minutes.
As for what Michael Keaton is up to, we can only speculate at this point. With Sony bringing him back for Morbius and the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home coming soon, we don’t know exactly what he’s filming. The trailer for Morbius and the post-credits scene for Venom: Let There Be Carnage confirmed that Sony’s current Spider-Man universe is connected to the MCU. That means that the possibilities for Keaton and The Vulture are pretty endless. Even with Spider-Man: No Way Home only a month away, there’s still time for a post-credits scene or something along those lines.
This isn’t the only secret that Keaton has kept close to his chest. He’s an in-demand man in the comic book movie sphere, returning as Batman in the upcoming The Flash. We’ll keep you updated on what exactly Keaton is filming, but in the meantime, check out the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer to see if there’s some indication there.
