With the release of the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary line, there is no telling what else Hasbro has in store for us with their Black Series lineup. From The Power of the Force line to Star Wars: Droids we have seen some great anniversary figures join our collections. Now thanks to a report from Yakface.com there is another set we will have to keep our eyes out for. Yup, the day that we never would see seems to be here. Yes, I am talking about a Star Wars: Holiday Special Life Day Black Series lineup.
Life Day Collection Coming To The Black Series lineup
If you know anything about Yakface.com they are pretty good at letting fans know when new figures are heading our way. This is what they had to say about the Life Day Collection:
“Look for an announcement for this year’s rumored set of figures for Hasbro’s Black Series Life Day Collection this week with availability starting on November 17. Thanks to Cowel of the Ewok for the info.”
What Figures Could We Get?
This is where it could get interesting. Most of the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary have been re-packs of older figures, some with a new paint job. So, will Hasbro be boring and give us the same characters we have been getting like Luke, Han, R2-D2, C-3PO, and so on? Or will they give us something new and unexpected like Itchy, Lumpy, or Malla. If anything they can at least give us a Bea Arthur as Ackmena. We can only hope, right?
