New Japan Pro Wrestling STRONG has been on fire for the past year. The new US NJPW show is running a big event in San Jose, California on Saturday and then the Detonation show in Riverside, California on Monday, November 15th. THS and Flobo Boyce sat down with the STRONG Openweight Champion, Tom Lawlor for a chat. In the interview, Lawlor teased his long-awaited rematch with Fred Rosser, his pandemic weight preparedness, his experience on NJPW STRONG, and more.

During the course of the interview, Tom teased more than just this upcoming match with Fred Rosser. Going forward, assuming he retains his title, Rosser lists the great champions that NJPW has to offer. He’s the longest-running singles champion in the company at the moment, and he’s undefeated as STRONG Openweight Champion.

Lawlor had big things to say about New Japan Pro Wrestling: Strong. According to him, it’s the best place for new people to start watching the New Japan style. Whether it’s a new fan or someone coming back to the show, New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Detonation and Battle in the Valley are highly anticipated cards.
