Ever wanted to make your bookshelf look like it came straight out of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? Well, Dark Horse has just the thing for you. Well, things, to be precise.

Skyrim Dragon Skull Bookends, Oh My!

Skyrim Dragon Skull Bookends, in both left and right versions.
Ah, dragon hunting trophies for your bookshelf. Like what any Dragonborn wants.

Dark Horse Direct is proud to announce these highly detailed Skyrim Dragon Skull Bookends for the 10th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. These bookends look like items that could’ve come straight out of Windhelm, because what else do you do with the long-dead skulls of dragons? Now, you too can get a piece of faux dragon corpse to decorate your bookshelf for only…$99.99 per bookend. Yeah, you’re going to have to pay $200 to get both. Which isn’t the best news. The slightly less bad news is that if you order 2 of them you get a $15 rebate off the whole order! So, for a total of $185, they’re all yours. It’s not much of a discount, but if you’re looking to get them anyways, well, why not?

Bear in mind this purchase will in fact be a preorder as of this moment. You can expect these Dragon Skull Bookends to start shipping to you between September to November 2022. This is an approximate shipping date, and may change depending on how badly this ongoing supply bottleneck is going. Also, these bookends are a limited edition run with only 2000 units. If you want these bookends, then you’re going to need to preorder asap.

To give you some more details about these Skyrim Dragon Skull Bookends, they’re pretty big. Each bookend stands 9 inches tall, 7 inches wide, and 5.4 inches deep. Each bookend also weighs 8 lbs (3.63 kg) if you add in the weight of the packaging. Even taking the packaging weight away, you’ll have a pretty hefty bookend for your shelves.

For scale. And possibly fang and horn too.

The whole bookend is made out of polyresin for weathering and durability. Unless you have the misfortune to live in a lichen-infested area. Joe Menna did the sculpting, while J.W. Productions did the prototyping and painting. And of course, Dark Horse Direct is distributing these Skyrim Dragon Skull Bookends.
