Christmas is here and so are the Rom-Coms! The trailer for Netflix’s first gay-centered Holiday Romantic Comedy is here! And Single All The Way promises all the fun, laughs, and romance we all look for in a holiday rom-com!


Single All the Way follows years past LGBTQ+ centered Holiday loves stories like last year’s Happiest Season from Hulu, The Christmas-Set-Up, Dashing in December, and The Christmas House. And from the looks of the trailers, Single All The Way is sure to be a Holiday Classic!

Directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer, Single All The Way stars Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) as Peter, a gay man desperate to avoid his family’s judgment about being single this Christmas. I mean, if that’s not relatable I don’t know what is. 

After a bright idea, Peter convinces his best-friend Nick (Philemon Chambers) to join him for the holiday festivities and pretend that they’re in a relationship. However, when Peter’s mother (Kathy Najimy) sets him up on a blind date with her super hot trailer James (Luke Macfarlane) – his plans go awry. As the trailer shows, real sparks fly between Peter and Nick! And since this is a holiday rom-com, I’m sure we can all guess the ending. However, what makes it magical is the journey there.

Single All The Way also stars comedy icons Jennifer Coolidge (Legally Blonde), Jennifer Robertson (Schitt’s Creek), and Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show).
