It appears that the apparently great time My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission had at the weekend box office wasn’t quite enough for Funimation. If you do decide to head over to theaters though, then you can purchase tickets here. The film released back on October 29, 2021; so you don’t have to wait to buy tickets.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission ~ Details
By now, I’m fairly certain most of you know what My Hero Academia is. It is one of the most popular superhero anime series in the world right now, after all. Some of you might not know what World Heroes’ Mission is though. Well, it’s the third feature-length anime film of the My Hero Academia franchise after Two Heroes and Heroes Rising. It’s also, unfortunately, the lowest rated film among the trio, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad film.
The official synopsis for My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission from Funimation gives us a bit more details. Check it out below:
“When a sinister organization threatens to wipe out all superhuman powers, the fate of the world is on the line. With two hours until the collapse of civilization, Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki manage to work as a team, but there’s still one problem. Deku’s on the run for murder.”
