That is what HBO’s latest true crime limited series makes us believe. Set to come out in December, the Landscapers mini-series tells the true story of Chris and Susan Edwards and trying to unravel their web of lies.
Down below you can see the first teaser HBO released yesterday. It is the first look of the miniseries, and so far so good.
As we see, detectives are searching for answers about the two bodies found buried in a garden. They question the Edwards, but what really happened to those two bodies?
“You promised you would protect me!”
Let’s hope Chris can protect Susan now that the heat is on them. The police want answers that they are not giving them. Landscapers is a dark comedy based on true events.

Inspired by real events, Landscapers tells a unique love story involving Chris and Susan Edwards (Thewlis and Colman), a seemingly ordinary British couple who become the focus of an extraordinary investigation when two dead bodies are discovered in the back garden of a house in Nottingham.
This miniseries is directed by Will Sharpe and produced by SISTER in association with South of the River Pictures for HBO. Starring David Thewlis (Remus Lupin in Harry Potter) and Olivia Colman (The Crown’s Queen Elizabeth II for season 3 and 4). Other actors to make an appearance will be Felicity Montagu, Kate O’flynn, Samuel Anderson, and Daniel Rigby.
Landscapers will premiere Monday December 6th at 9pm ET / PT on HBO.
