It’s the end of the world as they know it… But Geralt of Rivia feels fine.

Netflix’s adaptation of epic fantasy adventure The Witcher will debut its second season in December. And you can expect even more magic and monsters in this next chapter.

During Lucca Comics & Games Convention in Italy today, the series dropped the main trailer for season 2. Get your first look at the return of The Witcher below.

As conflict heats up across the realm, people predict armageddon must be just around the corner. But don’t expect doomsayers to sway our Witcher.

“I’ve lived through three supposed end-of-days,” Geralt says in the trailer. “It’s all horseshit.”

(Well, as long as he’s not worrying, we won’t either.)

Here’s the official synopsis for season 2 from Netflix:

Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans, and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.

The fantasy series comes from showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Season 2 will see a number of familiar characters return, including Henry Cavill’s Geralt, Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer, Joey Batey’s Jaskier, and Freya Allan’s Ciri, among others.
