Check out the first trailer for the action-horror flick below.
The trailer reveals our first look at all the gory action fans expect from a Resident Evil movie. We see our leads Claire Redfield (Kaya Scodelario) and her brother Chris (Robbie Amell) get caught up in the heart of Umbrella Corp’s operations. But will the pair live to tell anyone about their experiments?
Here’s the official synopsis from Sony:
Returning to the origins of the massively popular Resident Evil franchise, fan and filmmaker Johannes Roberts brings the games to life for a whole new generation of fans. In Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.
Roberts wrote and directed the feature. In addition to Scodelario and Amell, the movie also stars Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, Donal Logue, and Neal McDonough.
You can step into the world of Raccoon City in theaters November 24.
