Fathom Events and MGM are giving us the treat of a lifetime. The vaunted Director’s Cut of Rocky IV is coming to theaters for one night only. That’s right, you’ll get to see Sylvester Stallone‘s Director’s Cut of the film. It adds an additional 40 minutes of footage to the film. In addition to that, there’ll be a live Q&A with Stallone after the film. You can catch the movie in theaters on November 11th, 2021 nationwide. Rocky Balboa defends his title once again against his most formidable opponent, Ivan Drago.
That’s not all though, there’s also a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the recut film. You can rent or buy Rocky V. Rocky IV was the highest grossing film in the series up to its release. It was also the highest grossing sports-drama for almost 25 years. It stars Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Brigitte Nielsen, Burt Young, Carl Weathers, and more.
