The Mandalorian‘s season two finale gave us a lot of things. It gave us some heartfelt moments, and it also gave us the triumphant return of Boba Fett. The Book of Boba Fett, which was teased in the credits of that finale, is coming to Disney+ on December 29th, 2021. The series tells the story of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they make a return to Tatooine to take over the territory once owned by Jabba the Hut.
It stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson executive produced the show. You can check out our archive of The Book of Boba Fett content here. As for other characters, it’s rumored that some of the bounty hunters from Fett’s past make appearances. Bounty hunters like Cad Bane, Bossk, and the star of The Mandalorian Din Djarin.
We’ll have to see if The Book of Boba Fett is just as good as some of those episodes of season two of The Mandalorian.
