Judas Priest has been forced to postpone the rest of the US tour. Their 50th Anniversary, 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour was already underway. The band’s guitarist Richie Faulkner has been hospitalized with a heart condition. The tour was slated to finish up in November in Hamilton, Ontario. There’s no word on when we’ll get rescheduled dates for the remainder of the tour.
Faulkner joined Judas Priest back in 2011 after K.K. Downing quit the band right before their Epitaph World Tour. He’s filled in admirably giving Judas Priest a kick in the ass and a bit of youth. He’s contributed to their albums Redeemer of Souls and Firepower.
Our thoughts go out to Richie and his family during this time. All of us at THS wish him a speedy recovery from his ailments.
