The Lost Boys is one of the most beloved horror movies from the 80’s. It gave us an interesting and new take on the vampire genre. Now, Warner Bros is reimagining the film for a new movie. According to THR, Noah Jupe and Jaeden Martell will star in the upcoming film. In addition to them, Randy McKinnon (Static Shock) is writing the screenplay with Jonathan Entwistle directing. The original horror flick from Joel Schumacher starring Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, and Kiefer Sutherland was an instant genre classic. It spawned two direct-to-DVD sequels in the early 2000s, but this is the first try at a new take on the story for theaters.
Plot details are under wraps but it’s a modern day story with vampires. Jupe previously starred in A Quiet Place Part II and Martell was in the newest It film.
