Edgar Wright’s ultra-stylized Last Night In Soho just dropped a new (equally stylish) peek at the film.
Today Focus Features revealed a new poster for the psychological thriller. It shows the core cast divided along a neon blue/red split, with the film’s title appearing in the center as its own neon sign. You can check it out for yourself below.
Last Night in Soho follows Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie), an aspiring fashion designer. But Eloise’s life turns upside down when she’s mysteriously able to enter the 1960s, where she encounters dazzling wannabe singer, Sandie (Anya Taylor-Joy). But the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something far darker.
The film comes from writer/director Edgar Wright, who’s known for several popular films with their own unique, stand-out styles, from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to Baby Driver. The trailer for Last Night in Soho certainly looks visually distinct (and impressive). The newly-released poster also matches its aesthetic, encouraging you to bask in its neon glow.
In addition to McKenzie and Taylor-Joy, the film stars Matt Smith, Terence Stamp, Diana Rigg, Rita Tushingham, Michael Ajao, and Synnøve Karlsen. Krysty Wilson-Cairns co-wrote the feature with Wright.
