The official premiere of Marvel’s Shang-Chi is only days away! And we have some more behind-the-scenes content to celebrate.

Check out the latest clip featuring insight from the cast and crew below.

In this featurette, star Simu Liu talks about his excitement to take on the role of Shang-Chi.

“I was pretty much the biggest Marvel fan you could possibly imagine,” Liu says.

Liu, director Destin Daniel Cretton, and writer Dave Callaham also discuss the impact of creating a superhero film that explores and celebrates Asian cultures. They hope that the film has an impact especially on kids who haven’t seen themselves on screen in this way before.

But as co-star Michelle Yeoh says, Shang-Chi will really appeal to anyone and everyone.

“When your storytelling is good, it transcends the culture. Because at the end of the day, we’re telling a story about love, about family,” said Yeoh.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings stars Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

We got to check out Shang-Chi early, and this is definitely one to watch! If you couldn’t tell from all the trailers and previews, the action really delivers. But at the same time, it’s very character driven and overall the perfect film to kick off Marvel’s newest phase. You can read our full review here.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hits theaters September 3.
