Thoughts From THE GRID

Ranger Nation this is fantastic! Think about it this run, hopefully, this will fill in the stories that we’ve come up with for the past 24 years. But add to the lore itself! We had an inkling in Power Rangers Unlimited: Edge of Darkness to some of the Phantom Rangers origins. But this Universe series can go even further. Hear me out once this first limited run is done. Maybe this will inspire the folks at Boom to find those untapped parts of the Rangerverse and fill them in. Simone Ragazzoni is on board to do the art but a writer, as of posting this article, hasn’t been announced.

From the Unlimited tie-ins, Boom has done a wonderful job finding writers that know the ranger aesthetic. Putting their own twist on it and still make it fit into the fabric of the Rangerverse. I hope whoever is writing the story they have Ryan Parrott on speed dial so no one gets painted into a corner. The last time we spoke with Ryan he said that Hasbro has been more flexible with storytelling so we don’t get a “Haim-fisted” Gosei Style “THERES A SIMPLE EXPLANATION FOR THAT.”

I for one am excited to see where this storyline takes us and hopeful for the potential future. The word Universe is vast and with all the talent Boom has under their belt the possibilities are endless. As always I will be keeping up giving you reviews with each issue .
