Season two of The Mandalorian gave us plenty of noteworthy Star Wars moments. It’s not hard to guess what the most momentous one was though. Mark Hamill made his return as Luke Skywalker to take Grogu on his Jedi training. In a new clip released for Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, we get a truly awesome behind-the-scenes look and some words from Dave Filoni about the whole ordeal.

The scene and quote from Filoni give you all anyone needs to know about his approach to Star Wars. It accentuates the fun and wonder that Star Wars gave all of us as kids. That’s why this moment at the end of The Mandalorian season two was so special for so many people.

Disney Gallery: Star Wars: The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ this August 25th, 2021. In addition to the scene, they’ll go over the technology used to de-age Mark Hamill for the scene and other technical aspects of the whole episode.
