Halloween Kills is one of the most looked forward to films of the year. It was supposed to release last year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was pushed back a year. Now, we’re heading to the home stretch. Today, Sacred Bones Records announced that John Carpenter‘s score for the film is getting a vinyl, CD, and cassette release on October 15th! John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies composed the score for the upcoming film.

In addition to this, they put out a new track from the score titled “Unkillable”. Check it out below.

You can grab the pre-order from the Sacred Bones Website.

This is what they had to say about the release:

Like the film itself, Carpenter’s score to the second installment of the new Halloween trilogy, Halloween Kills, stays true to the spirit of what made the 1978 original great while bringing it firmly into the present. The music is unmistakably Carpenter: the sinister vintage synth tones, the breath-stealing sense of menace that he conjures with just a few dissonant notes. But with a broader sonic palette, new digital techniques at his disposal, and a deeper sense of musicality, the Halloween Kills score is the work of a master artist who nearly 50 years into his career continues to push his creative limits and find new ways to thrill and terrify his fans.

Halloween Kills sees the return of David Gordon Green as director and Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode. In addition, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Robert Longstreet, Dylan Arnold, Kyle Richards, Anthony Michael Hall, Nancy Stephens, Charles Cyphers, Jibrail Nantambu, and James Jude Courtney as Michael Myers.
