Anyone excited for Catwoman: Hunted? Well, now we know who’s going to voice who in this first anime film about the titular cat burglar.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that Warner Bros. Animation, DC, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have released their cast of voice talents to play in Catwoman: Hunted. To start us off, we have the voice for the star of the show. Elizabeth Gillies will play Catwoman in this anime film. Gillies’ notable past roles include voicing Daphne in Winx Club, and playing Jade West in Nickelodeon’s Victorious.
Other voice talents joining in on Catwoman: Hunted include Stephanie Beatriz as Batwoman, Jonathan Banks as Black Mask, Steve Blum as Solomon Grundy, Lauren Cohan as Julia Pennyworth, Keith David as Tobias Whale, Zehra Fazal as Talia al Ghul & Nosferata, Jonathan Frakes as King Faraday & Boss Moxie, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah, Kelly Hu as Cheshire, Andrew Kishino as Mr. Yakuza & Domino 6, Eric Lopez as Domino 1, Jacqueline Obradors as La Dama, and Ron Yuan as Doctor Tzin.
Catwoman: Hunted ~ Other Details
In other news, Shinsuke Terasawa will direct Catwoman: Hunted, working off of a script by Greg Weisman. Terasawa has worked on such anime series as xxxHolic, The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk, Lupin III: Dead or Alive, and more. Ethan Spaulding and Colin A.B.V. Lewis will co-produce this film. Sam Register will executive produce.
And lastly, we will finally get to see Catwoman: Hunted sometime in early 2022. That’s it as far as release dates go. At least, until Warner Bros. gives us a more specific release date later. Hopefully soon.
