The Long Island vamps are back… and back again! What We Do In The Shadows has already been renewed for a fourth season.
The third season of the FX comedy will premiere September 2, with the fourth planned for 2022. The network revealed the news during its TCA presentation.
“Fans can’t seem to get enough of What We Do in the Shadows and FX is ready to feed that appetite by setting up the series for a fourth season,” Nick Grad, President of Original Programming at FX. “Our thanks to the extraordinary job by the creative team, cast, and crew who keep making a great show better each season.”
In addition to the renewal news, the TCA presentation also premiered a season 3 trailer. Watch it below:
The upcoming season will see the crew take over the Vampiric Counsel, and encounter new modern challenges like riding an escalator. Nandor has a mid-life crisis (or whatever the eternal life version of that would be), and Colin Robinson turns 100. Plus, the vamps take on the werewolves in a little game of kickball.
Season 3 of What We Do In The Shadows includes 10 episodes. The first two, titled “The Prisoner” and “The Cloak of Duplication” will premiere back-to-back on September 2.
The series stars Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, and Mark Proksch as vampire roommates living with their familiar (Harvey Guillén).
So, are you excited to see these vampire roommates return (and return again)? Let us know in the comments.
