Power Ranger Ninja Turtles: Product Description

This 6-inch Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin Power Rangers X Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collab 2-pack features action figures with premium paint and decorative details inspired by the Boom! Comics crossover miniseries, with over 20 points of articulation in each figure for high poseability. Plus, they come with swappable heads to display the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Ranger helmet or without. They also include multiple character-inspired weapon accessories, blast effect pieces, and extra pairs of hands for more ways to play or display. 

Thoughts from the GRID

I’m excited for both fandoms for this package. It is the mashup were have been waiting for des. I appreciate that with Leos Ranger suit they are going with a lighter shade of blue to match his mask. Plus the details look fantastic. One thing to notice is they are taking their time making sure each turtle isn’t just a copy and paste situation like the old Playmates toys were back in the ’80s. The modified weapons look great too. Its as if Hasbro plucked them right out of the comic! The only downside I see is the Morpher buckle looks painted on and not raised off the belt.

Where do we go from here?

I think it’s a smart choice to keep this line going in 2-packs. So Raph and Mikey are obviously followed by a Green Coin Powered Shredder and Morphed April 2 pack… o she won’t sit on a peg or in a warehouse, although that’s unlikely.

Regarding the Splinter trained “Ninja” Rangers – I would suggest a 5-pack depending on how well the turtles do, simply because they are so detailed on the page. It would be a shame if collectors cherry-picked off the pegs.
