Mark Rosewater and Jules Robins sat down for the Dungeons and Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms panel at San Diego Comic-Con@Home. If you’re coming to hear a bit about new sets for Magic, you might be disappointed. This is all about the flavor, design, and the making of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms.

The two went over the lengthy process of designing and crafting a set that felt close enough to the mechanics of Dungeons and Dragons. You can check it all out in the video above. It’s a pretty informative look into the design of Magic in general. Even if you’re not a fan of the set, you’re getting a crash course in design.

The new set is a great way to get Magic players into D&D, and for D&D players to get into Magic.
