Congrats everyone – we’re officially one year away from the next Jordan Peele flick!
Today Peele dropped a poster for his third feature on social media. We don’t even know the plot of the movie yet, but somehow I’m guessing the title will prove appropriate.
The movie’s called Nope. The title already speaks to Peele’s sort of movies—horror with an edge of humor. The poster itself shows a dark, ominous cloud high above a brightly lit city.
Here’s what we know about Nope so far:
- It stars Daniel Kaluuya, who previously fronted Peele’s feature Get Out.
- Additional stars include Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Barbie Ferreira, and Brandon Perea.
- It will be Peele’s third feature film, following 2017’s Get Out and 2019’s Us.
- The theatrical premiere is set for July 22, 2022, exactly a year from the poster drop.
Unfortunately, that’s all the info we have on this one for now. To find out what sort of terror evokes the great “Nope,” we’ll just have to stay tuned for more details.
So, what do you think of the poster? Ready to speculate wildly about what Peele has in store for us? Drop your predictions in the comments.
