Good ol’ Bill Murray. From being a Ghostbuster, to a Caddyshack groundskeeper, Murray has had some amazing and memorable roles in his career. Now, he’ll once again join Wes Anderson on the director’s new film, set to film in Spain. The casting news of Murray reuniting with Anderson should not come as any big surprise. Wes Anderson reusing past actors he has worked with is par for the course.

Murray joined his co-star, Tilda Swinton, during the Cannes Film Festival for the casting confirmation. The film, Anderson’s latest, is titled The French Dispatch. Other films on which the two have collaborated are: Isle of Dogs, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, The Darjeeling Limited, and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

Bill Murray: Man of many talents

Bill Murray

The former Saturday Night Live alumni certainly is a many of many talents. We learned earlier this year that he will reprise his role as Peter Venkman in the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel. What some man not know, however, is that Bill Murray is also an accomplished musician. He debuted a music documentary at the Cannes, as well, “New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization”. You can check out the trailer by clicking below. It showcases Murray and Jan Vogler’s European “New Worlds” tour.
