In the season 2 premiere of Ted Lasso, AFC Richmond brings in a sports psychologist (Sarah Niles) to help the team overcome their unprecedented seven game tie-streak. The preview clip shows Sudeikis’ Lasso along with Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Welton) and Juno Temple (Keeley Jones).
Ted Lasso has proved a smash hit for Apple TV+, gaining both critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase. The series recently scored a whopping 20 Emmy Award nominations, too. That makes it the most-nominated freshman comedy series ever.
Season 2 of Ted Lasso premieres on Apple TV+ Friday, July 23. New episodes air weekly on Fridays. You can also stream the entirety of season 1 now.
