When it comes to Star Wars you never know what rumors will pop up for the new series heading our way. That was no different this weekend, with a rumor that kind of caught fans by surprise. In a report from Comicbook.com, they shared a report from Star Wars scooper Jordan Maison of Cinelinx. In this report, Maison claims that the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series has found its young Leia Organa. Here is what Jordan Maison had to say.
Vivien Lyra Blair As A Young Leia Organa
“I can tell you Leia is a part of Kenobi in a big way. In fact, from what I’ve heard, the stuff dealing with Leia is pretty much the impetus for the whole show and what gets Obi-Wan (Ben) into another adventure. Even better, I can tell you that Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box, We Can Be Heroes) has been cast in the role!”
So as I say every time these rumors come out please take them with a grain of salt. As of now, no official statement has been made from Disney on Vivien Lyra Blair as Leia Organa in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This is a developing story and we will have more on it as news breaks.
