If you stayed tuned for the post-credits scene following the final episode of Loki, you were rewarded with some good news. The show will return for a second season.
Marvel dropped the news quietly at the end of episode six of Loki. In fact, it’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it type reveal; Fans saw a red stamp on a case file which read simply, “Loki will return in season two.”
If you missed it the first time around, you can catch it by jumping to a little before the 43 minute mark of the episode on Disney+.
So that’s the good news: fans can look forward to even more of the God of Mischief in the future. The bad news? That’s all the details we have for now.
Loki is the third Marvel series to launch on Disney+, following WandaVision and Falcon and Winter Soldier. The Marvel TV series also interlink with the studio’s feature films. Loki leads into the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel, releasing March 2022.
