Hideo Kojima, Microsoft close to deal for new Xbox Game
The ongoing discussions between both parties have reportedly been going on for months. Microsoft is assisting in finalizing Kojima’s next game and providing the developer with the material he needs to complete it. As of right now the game’s subject remains unknown. Kojima Productions, it’s worth noting, is still in the early stages of development. Not with standing, both parties and their lawyers have confirmed that the two sides are near completion of the deal. Xbox next-gen console technology will certainly help give Kojima all the creative freedom he needs.
For now (according to VentureBeat) it seems Kojima is still focusing on his Death Stranding: Director’s Cut with Sony. Time will only tell what Xbox and Kojima are cooking up behind the scenes.
