We’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the Disneyland Hotel is opening up July 2nd. The bad news of a curveball announcement is that Steakhouse 55 has now closed permanently. Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and the Coffee House will open up tomorrow. As these are the other food places to grab a bite to eat at the hotel.
With the previous, May 20th announcement as communication went silent for anything new in terms of updates. Disneyland Resort officials confirmed the closure. Details are remaining unknown for anything new . The resort is looking to explore for other options for the location.
Steakhouse 55 opened up it’s doors on November 27th, 2006. It replaced Granville’s Steak House that opened up in 1983.

The classic staple restaurant at the Disneyland Hotel served up fine dining for guests. It offered breakfast and dinner options and was known for it’s tasty and delicious steaks and seafood. The theme was old Hollywood from it’s golden era time period.
