Today, we’re not dealing with an exclusive like the one we had on Wednesday about Mass Effect and Netflix or previous ones with Spider-Man. No, this time we’re handling something a bit bigger in the grand scheme of entertainment.
It’s the question that keeps the lights on at Twitter these days.
When is Sony and Marvel dropping the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home?
I have dug around and while I have corroborated this with five verifiable sources, this is not totally confirmed. While I’m confident in the information it is by no means a guarantee. However, I’m hearing that Sony has sent out the trailer to theatres under secure lockdown. These theatres are ready to play the trailer.
From what my sources are telling me, the No Way Home trailer will be playing in front of Black Widow. No doubt to boost ticket sales and revive fledgling profit margins for theatre partners.
As to when the trailer will make its way online that is currently unknown although Marvel does love to play trailers in front of NBA Finals games. So that is a strong possibility. Either way, the theaters have suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. People are going to see Black Widow no matter what, but this adds that extra incentive to see it in theaters. So that means, no Disney+ Premier Access if you want the Spider-Man trailer.
Black Widow releases in theaters July 9th, so go to the theater if you want to see the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. That film releases this December 17th, 2021.
