The Walking Dead star Laurie Holden will recur in season 3 of The Boys. 

Holden will play Crimson Countess, a member of Payback whose powers call to mind those of Marvel’s Scarlet Witch.

Crimson Countess joins a number of new supes set for season 3. Jensen Ackles will appear in the upcoming season as Soldier Boy. And Amazon teased three new characters invented specifically for the TV series earlier this week. (Find out about Gunpowder, Supersonic, and Blue Hawk here.)

Amazon’s The Boys adapts the bestselling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Season 3 has already entered production, but we don’t have a release date set yet.

Returning stars include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, and Antony Starr.

Holden is known for her portrayal of Andrea in The Walking Dead. The actor also starred in horror flicks like The Mist and Silent Hill.
