Ready to be haunted? Ryan Murphy just teased a new look at his upcoming horror anthology series, American Horror Stories.

“Every episode brings you a different nightmare,” promised a tweet from Murphy.

Check out the teaser for the upcoming series below:

The clip revisits some familiar locations for American Horror Story fans. It also brings back familiar imagery from the promotion of the very first season of AHS. (Note that while the marketing works to capture the existing AHS fanbase, this new anthology series is not intended as a direct continuation or extension of AHS.)

American Horror Stories is an anthology series, where each hour-long episode features a different self-contained horror story. Since each episode will bring a new scare, plot details have been kept under wraps. However, Murphy did previously reveal Kevin McHale, Dyllón Burnside, Charles Melton, and Nico Greetham would star in the series. While discussing her work on Murphy’s Ratched, Sarah Paulson announced she would direct part of the series as well.

The tenth season of AHS, Double Feature, will arrive soon. It premieres on FX Wednesday, August 25. The new American Horror Stories arrives even sooner – July 15. But the anthology series will debut as a Hulu exclusive. So, you’ll need access to the streaming platform to check this one out.
