Another day, another tease by The Flash director Andy Muschietti. This time around it looks as if we’re getting Supergirl in the upcoming DC movie. Muschietti took to his Instagram page once again to show off the logo for the costume of Supergirl. It’s just a close-up of the center logo. The logo is the same one as Henry Cavill’s Superman, but with a different fabric behind it.
Supergirl will be played by Sasha Calle in the film. She joins Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, Ron Livingston, and Kiersey Clemons. There aren’t many details on the film, besides that it’ll loosely focus on the Flashpoint arc from the comics. It sees The Flash travel back in time to save his mother, but he ends up creating an alternate timeline that screws with his own reality. In the movie, this timeline brings back the classic Keaton Batman. Ben Affleck‘s Batman will also make an appearance.
It’s part of DC‘s new slate of films that includes The Batman, Blue Beetle, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Black Adam, The Suicide Squad, Zatanna, and more. We’ll have to see when we get closer to the release date for The Flash. It releases in theaters November 4th, 2022.
