After all the memes about the Xbox Series X that looks like your everyday household fridge. Well they aren’t kidding and it’s coming out later this year. Announced during Xbox and Bethesda’s E3 showcase, it will be available to buy this upcoming Holiday season. It was those spur of the moments like a Steve Jobs deal, for “by the way, we have one more final thing we didn’t announce today”.
The running joke for this mini fridge and will be “powered by the Xbox Velocity Cooling Architecture”. Also, you can store up to 12-once cans of your beverages of choice. Pricing wasn’t share during the showcase and the other joke for those who wanna “Xbox and Chill”.
Thanks to Aaron Greenburg as Xbox’s General Manager of Marketing is the one who approved the production of the mini fridges. As in a recent social media competition on Twitter for “Best of Tweet” as Xbox came out for the champions against Skittles.
The social media meme ran when the Xbox Series X and S’s were coming out for some background. The first half of 2020 that Microsoft even made a meme about the fridge on their Twitter account. Then at the near end of 2020 as Microsoft released a “very limited amount” of Xbox Fridges towards selective people. Online content creators and musicians like iJustine, Snoop Dogg and others. As this tied in the whole marketing release of the consoles in November 2020.
